Noper (b. 1997, USA) lives and works in Florida. He is a multidisciplinary artist working across digital media, video and AI, and builds dreamlike, sun bleached worlds where memory and technology run together, chaotic and hallucinatory, looking at contemporary life through an analog lens of childhood nostalgia. His method depends on giving up control: he describes the simulations he works with as unpredictable and personal, containable only up to a point, which makes animating closer to filmmaking than to design.
His AI work runs alongside his work in music. He created the visuals for No Doubt's surprise performance with Olivia Rodrigo at Coachella and the music video for Raye's Genesis, and has collaborated with Future and Metro Boomin. He is a Fellowship artist, with his AI video work featured on the daily.xyz project, and his work has been shown at House of Fine Art and Unit London, at Sala Equis in Madrid, at Artspace55 and with Louise Alexander Gallery in Los Angeles, as well as in New York, Miami, Seoul, Dubai, Lisbon, Valencia, Istanbul and Bali. Soft Tension was offered at Christie's New York in 2024.
In 2025 Noper took part in the group exhibition The Demons Are Us at Plan X Milan.
